Quality Chopping boards
Using only sustainably harvested New Zealand timbers
Lindsay Dryden's wooden chopping boards are lovingly handcrafted and make an attractive and practical addition to any kitchen. Lindsay uses a variety of exotic and native sustainably harvested timbers, including macrocarpa, matai, rata, rimu, eucalyptus (red gum), tulip oak and walnut.
The boards are made by gluing together end grain timber which shows the grain and the colour to best advantage and provides a dense surface for cutting on. Timber boards are kind to knives, easy to clean and look beautiful. The glue used is a registered Food Safe glue (PVA) and the boards are oiled with vegetable oil and waxed with beeswax before being sent out.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash the board with hot soapy water. Drain the board by standing it on edge. Oil regularly with a vegetable oil or rub with beeswax. Do not soak or wash in the dish washer and do not leave the board to dry in direct sunlight.
We ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or the next day if it is a Public Holiday.
