Razar Merino is made in Napier, Hawke's Bay. Designer Christine Danvers combines her talent in the design field with pattern making skills and Razar produces a quality range of merino wool fashion garments for women and base garments for men and children.

Razar uses merino wool made from wool fibres of less than 20 microns, which is the secret that makes fine merino wool a perfect material to wear next to the skin without irritation. Compared to a human hair (appr 70 microns) the fibres are as fine as silk floss.

Most first-time users are surprised to find that merino wool clothing can be worn in all seasons due to the special merino characteristic that allows the skin to breathe.

Christine Danvers uses single knit jersey merino for some garments and a fine rib-knit merino when a bit more stretchiness is useful.
