Prominent radio and television presonality Paul Holmes (pictured above with New Zealand Prime Minister Mr John Key) grew up in Hawke's Bay.

Paul planted 3000 leccino and frantoio olive trees on his Mana Lodge estate and produces superb Extra Virgin olive oil.
