Hand Crafted Candles

Beeswax candles, paraffin candles and gorgeous candle bowls.

These hand crafted candles were commissioned from the Hohepa Candle Studio in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Hohepa Homes is a residential community for adults with intellectual disabilities and is run according to the principles of Rudolf Steiner.

The beeswax and paraffin candles are made in a variety of colours and sizes. The candle bowls, made of coloured beeswax, glow when the candle inside is lit and can be used again and again by putting  a new candle inside.

The colours of the paraffin candles are more intense, but many customers prefer the beeswax candles because of their wonderful scent. Placed in a cluster of colours and sizes the cone candles create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for any occasion.

We ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or the next day if it is a Public Holiday.
